Bare-root Vegetables:

Sweet purple asparagus:  Higher sugar content; very hardy; large burgundy spears; tender and less stringy; can be eaten raw; male variety

Jersey Knight asparagus:  large green spears; high yielding; resistant to rust; very hardy

Canada Red Rhubarb:  long thick red stalks; juicy and sweet; tender and less stringy than green rhubarb; no peeling; very hardy   ​​​​​
